Raymond's duties and responsibilities include handling all zoning and landmarks matters, residential and commercial development issues, building permit issues, liquor license applications, traffic study requests, and infrastructure improvement issues. He also is the aldermanic liaison to the local Chambers of Commerce and the Special Service Areas.
Jeanine Otte

Jeanine is the 1st Ward Education Analyst and Outreach Coordinator. She is the Alderman’s liaison to community organizations, neighborhood groups, Chicago Public Schools, parent groups, Chicago Park District, and park advisory councils. As the Alderman’s representative, she collaborates with these organizations on various community development efforts. Jeanine assists constituents with property tax concerns, social services, water and sewer requests, special events, and block parties. Her work also includes handling environmental issues and legislative initiatives. Jeanine graduated from Luther College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Spanish.
Jerry Gabrielatos

Jerry serves as the liaison to the 13th, 14th and 19th police districts, the Department of Revenue and the Chicago Department of Transportation. He also handles issues related to the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection. Jerry graduated cum laude from Tulane University.
Scarleth Lever

Scarleth is the Alderman’s scheduler and Office Administrator. She is also the Intern Supervisor, the Green Exchange Project Manager and is involved with the Addison Industrial Corridor Revitalization and the Green Certification Task Force. As the liaison between our office and the Chicago Housing Authority, she is currently working as the Project Manager for the Redevelopment of Lathrop Homes. Her work also includes handling TIF issues and legislative initiatives. Scarleth graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and French and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Policy at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Matthew Bailey

Matt serves as the liaison to our Streets and Sanitation Department. He handles graffiti removal, rodent abatement, garbage removal requests, street sweeping and snow plowing issues. He is also responsible for dealing with issues that may arise from problem buildings and vacant lots. He is the Aldermanic liaison to utility companies and senior homes in the ward. His work includes handling any human service concerns, emergency housing and homelessness issues. His work also includes green building matters, facilitating neighborhood clean-ups, legislative initiatives and working on the Alderman’s monthly CAN-TV show. Matt graduated from the University of East Anglia in the U.K. with an American History and Politics degree. He studied at the University of New Mexico for one academic year and he is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Journalism at DePaul University.
Alejandra Mejia

Alejandra is the primary press contact for Alderman Flores’ office. She handles press releases and interviews, assists with CAN-TV programming, and updates the website. She also handles issues concerning parking violations, the Chicago Transit Authority, and Chicago Public Libraries. Alejandra is the staff member in charge of greeneconomychicago.com and the Green Economy Chicago Comcast on demand TV show. Alejandra graduated from the University of Chicago with an honors degree in Public Policy Studies.
